Kennen Sie Deutschland? Aber natürlich. Doch welches Bild hat man – hat wer? – von Deutschland? Dies in einer einzigen Präsentation und Datei zusammenzufassen habe ich mir selbst als Aufgabe gestellt. Es sind natürlich alles meine Bilder und natürlich ist es auch mein ganz persönliches Bild von Deutschland, beginnend bei den Motiven und sich fortsetzend in der Zusammenstellung. Es sind 365, für jeden Tag eins plus Reserve für die Schaltjahre. Die zeigt nur in minimalem Umfang zusammenhängende oder sinngemäß zusammenpassende Motive. Wie im Vorwort der Präsentation vermerkt ist Deutschland vor allem eins: Ein totaler Mix. Das Romantische und das Kaputte, das Ländliche und Industrielle. Die Menschen und ihre Bauten. Die Landnutzung und das Unnütze, das uns umgibt. Eben, alles zusammen, Deutschland, “so wie es ist”, wie ich keck behaupte. Und indem ich dieses Portrait zeige, könnte ein jeder anderer, ich übrigens eingeschlossen, ein anderes und ein weiteres Gesamtbild generieren. Ist übrigens auch bei reichlichem Fotofundus ein ganzer Knüppel Arbeit und deswegen hoffe ich, dass es erstens vom einen oder anderen gesehen wird (wäre gespannt und würde gerne beobachten, ab wann wer an der Fülle der Motive verzweifelt und das Schnellblättern beginnt, ungeduldig und nervös wird) und zweitens man seine eigenen Vorstellungen zumindest in Ansätzen wiederfindet. Wahrscheinlich muss man die Datei mehrfach öffnen, um sie zu konsumieren. Aber sie ganz unbeachtet zu lassen, wäre ja auch schade. Also, nehmt es Euch mal vor .... für später – aber immer dran denken: Besucht und seht Deutschland, solange es noch existiert. So, wie es war. Denn logischerweise ist mein Deutschlandbild schon der Sache wegen rückwärts-gewandt. Die Fotos entstanden ja “früher”, sind also alle schon ein wenig historisch und damit dokumentarisch. Ich wünsche dann viel (Seh-)Vergnügen.
... was übrigens noch bleibt bei mir als innerer Zweifel und/oder Wunsch, ob ich nicht noch eine Variante mache, in der ich jedem Bild einen kurzen, knappen, aber pointierten Kommentar mit auf den Weg gebe. Mal sehen, ob und wie mir Zeit und Lust und Möglichkeiten verbleiben.
Also dann, für hier und heute: Vorhang auf, traraaatraraaaaaaaa.....
Do you know Germany? Of course. But what image do you have - has who? - To summarize this in a single presentation and file I have set this question myself as a task. Of course, it's all my pictures and of course it's also my very personal perception of Germany, starting with the motives and continuing in the compilation. There are 365, one for each day plus reserve for the leap years. It shows only to a minimal extent coherent or mutually matching motives. As noted in the preface of the presentation, Germany is above all one thing: a total mix. The romantic and the broken, the rural and the industrial. The people and their buildings. The land use and the uselessness that surrounds us. Thus, all together, Germany, "as it is," as I boldly assert. And by showing this portrait, anyone else, including myself, could generate a new and own and different and wider total view. Incidentally, even with an ample Fotofundus it has been a cudgel work and therefore I hope that it is firstly seen by one or the other (would be curious and would like to observe, from when desperate at the abundance of motives and the quick-leafing begins to become impatient and nervous ) and secondly, one at least finds his own ideas in some ways. You probably have to open the file several times to consume it. But leaving them completely unnoticed would be too bad. So, take a look .... for later - but always remember: visit and see Germany while it still exists. Like it was. Because logically, my overall picture of Germany is already in the matter of backward-turned. The photos were made "earlier", so they are all a bit historical and therefore documentary. This in mind I wish a lot of (visual) pleasure.
... By the way, it remains with me as an inner doubt and / or wish, should I make another variant, in which I give each picture a short, concise but pointed commentary on the way. Let's see if and how time and desire and possibilities remain for me.
Nevertheless, for here and now: Curtain up, traraaatraraaaaaaaa .....
